Energy bullies – setting boundaries to release the negative and bring in the positive

energy bullies a peaceful balance aurora

Do you have someone in your life; maybe a boss, relative, friend, or maybe your current significant other, that you would describe as an ‘energy bully’? You can picture that person right away. Or maybe you don’t know what an energy bully is. If that’s the case read on to see if these relate.

If your boss gives you the worst shifts because you don’t kiss ass, you have a friend or family member that is really negative about everything you say or do, or your partner is incredibly controlling. These types of people are what I like to call energy bullies.

Do You Want Change?

What if I told you there’s a really easy way to create boundaries; and have the energy bully be accountable for their actions. You do have to commit to it. It isn’t something you just do once and if it doesn’t work right away you give up on. It does work, but you have to be open to change, because taking these steps will move things out of your life that no longer serve you for your best.

So, if you have someone in your life that is an energy bully what do you do? You’ve been wanting to stand up to them but you don’t want the repercussions at work, or you don’t want the hassle of the backlash your relative or friend might send if you do say something. And really, sometimes it’s just easier to “deal with it” rather than confront

them. But who wants to just deal with it?!!? It’s not good for your soul. And if kept in long enough it will have a negative toll in your life that will absolutely manifest physically.

So what do you do?

Stop “Dealing With” Them and Empower Ourselves to Change

We will go through a really simple yet important exercise to create positive change for you. And will hold the energy bully in your life accountable for their negative and unacceptable behavior. In doing so, you will have set up boundaries that you will give off energetically. People will automatically know what you find acceptable and will only bring you what you want.

This exercise is what I like to call an ‘energy email’.

It allows you to put all of your words and energy you been holding in and send it off to their higher self. Never having to confront them physically, yet they do receive the message. This may take a few days or months so be persistent and commit to it.

Here is an example of an energy email;

Dear Jane,

Your constant negative feedback, and your continued micromanaging is no longer tolerated by me. It’s not serving me with my highest and greatest good. Do not bring it around me any longer. I’m only accepting that which is positive and for my highest and greatest good.

This is an example of what you would either say out loud (while you’re alone) or think in your head and then send it energetically to the person. Imagine them standing in front of you, if that makes it easier for you to send off to them directly.

The very important part here is to remember to end it with “I’m only accepting that which is positive and for my highest and greatest good.” This will allow for the negative pattern to now be filled with positive responses.

How Does This Work and is it Really Effective???!!!?

Well, of course it does. We all have higher self. This is the part of us that is pure and knows the difference between right and wrong. By sending your email energetically, the intended person will receive the full message without physical self and ego denying it.

The reason why it’s not an immediate change is because their higher self will pick it up when they are ready to receive it. This is why you have to be persistent. As you continue to fill up their inbox with energy emails it’s easier for them to get the message.

So every time the person comes into your thoughts or says something negative, or if they are near you and their energy is blah, send them an energy email and enjoy all the positive that the universe has in store for you.

Wake Up with Gratitude: 5 Things You’re Grateful For

Wake Up with Gratitude: 5 Things You’re Grateful For

The quickest, easiest and cheapest way to change your life is Gratitude.

Just think about it; when you hold a door open for someone and they don’t say thank you, when you let that car in during traffic and they don’t wave thank you, you might get annoyed or pissed off, you might muddle under your breath. You may feel this way because gratitude in life matters.

Gratitude is the Attitude

Just give it a try.  Say thank you to the next person you see. How does that make you feel? Did you notice if their body language changed? If so you’ve just made a positive change for you and that person.

This slight increase to your mood will help spread that positivity to more people and situations. The other bonus is that that person will feel validated  so they will also spread that gratitude going forward in their day. What an amazing experience. Something so simple, and so easy to do, can make such a big change. It’s pure joy!

Start Your Day with 5 Things You Are Grateful For

Let’s try a quick and easy exercise. If you need to put a sticky note on the bathroom mirror or tie a ribbon around your finger, this exercise will be worth the reminder, I promise.  Here we go:start your day with 5 things you are grateful for.

It doesn’t matter what the 5 things are. It only matters that you start your day with thanks. This will change your life for the better. Commit to doing this daily for a week. Then try 2 weeks. Better still, commit to this daily exercise for 21 days (this is the amount of time you need to form a habit) and make note of the positive things that enter your life.

I’m thankful for:

  • The day
  • My family
  • The work I get to do
  • SPRING!
  • You, for taking this moment with me.
